Walls of Wins

My husband used to yell and always want to stop our child from crying. I tried to share with him before but it didn't help. Over the past month, I've been practising it consciously everyday and I noticed he is using the words that I use as well! I guess he sees that there's results and he's picking it up without me having to enforce it on him. This is probably the best way to get people onboard.

My son was whining the whole day and I realised I didn't give him a worksheet/activity he wanted to do cause I was focusing on my girl who just started Pl. Just before he slept, I spoke to him and apologised for overlooking him. What I picked up from today is that, Coaching does not need to happen in the same instance and can happen the next day.

And also being part of a community with like-minded parents and most times the tough part was to apply the theories leam to our family situation. So I feel like I've gained a lot from the community sharing our strategies and experiences.

Yea his night time meltdown has stop after being very very firm with him! haha! Thank you so much for your assurance that excessive crying and screaming is not harmful! At least now I know how to manage his meltdown and set firm boundaries!
